About SGF

One accountable partner for the whole digital house.

SGF is a founder-led theater technology and design practice. We work with a limited number of theaters so the person learning your house stays responsible for what ships.

Deliberately small

Close enough to learn the house

SGF makes room to understand the venue, season, audience, current tools, and practical constraints around launch. The work begins with listening, not with a template.

One partner stays with the project from discovery and design through migration planning, private testing, launch, and ongoing care. You do not have to retell the story to a new department at every step.

See the work in context

Close to the work

The practical pieces stay connected

Website, ticketing, front-of-house tools, and ongoing care are planned as one patron experience rather than separate accounts.

Design

A custom website shaped around the theater's identity, photography, season, and audience.

Box office

Integrated ticketing, seat maps or general admission, checkout, ticket delivery, and reporting.

Opening night

Private testing, launch preparation, and a mobile companion app for check-in and ticket lookup.

After launch

Hosting, maintenance, seasonal changes, and ongoing support from a partner who knows the house.

Why the name

Attention, returned to the room

The name comes from an old book about turning attention away from distraction and back toward presence: The Secret of the Golden Flower. Richard Wilhelm’s German translation appeared in 1929, with commentary from Carl Jung.

The lights dim. Conversations soften. Phones disappear into pockets. For a little while, people stop scattering their attention across ten places and agree to be in one room, with one story. Theater still knows how to make that possible.

Life happens now, only in the present moment.

The first conversation is a consultation, not a commitment.
